\t\t\t\nCooxup\u00e9 offers to its more than 13 thousand cooperatives members a series of free guidance and assistance services for farming. The technical department has more than 200 employees and most of them work directly in the field. They are agronomists, agricultural technicians and veterinarians who visit the properties and assist the farmers with the use of inputs, the preparation of the land, and follow the whole process of coffee production, from planting to harvesting and post harvesting.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tDemonstration units\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
In addition to a strong presence directly in the field, the cooperative still carries out every year the Demonstration Units. These are gatherings that bring together cooperative members and families to present – through lectures and exhibitors – the news of the sector and also information necessary for the life in the field. The topics covered are always very relevant to the cooperative members. The DUs, as they are popularly called, take place in the pre-harvest period, preparing coffee growers for this important moment for coffee quality.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tField day\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Cooxup\u00e9 regularly promotes Field Day with rural producers. It is another opportunity for direct communication with agricultural technicians and researchers.<\/p>\n
Field Day is extremely effective in spreading new technologies, creating conditions and opportunities for crop planning and more sustainable alternatives, increasing profitability and productivity and strengthening agriculture. During Field Days Cooxup\u00e9 professional teams present all this information to the cooperative members and show in practice how everything works.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tReturn of leftovers\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Among Cooxup\u00e9’s practices to financially benefit its members is the return of leftovers. Every year the cooperative reserves part of its result to be returned to the producers. The check is delivered to the Cooxup\u00e9 Units, with the percentage regarding the participation of each one. The amount related to the year 2015 returned to the cooperative members was R$ 12.269.579, approximately 20% higher than in the previous year. Part of the leftovers is incorporated into the capital of the members, which are rescued in the event of death or when the coffee grower retires leaving the activity.<\/p>\n
In addition to the leftover return, Cooxup\u00e9 cooperative members received more than R$ 73 million in direct and indirect benefits, adding bonuses and discounts on the acquisition of products\/inputs, quality programs, technical assistance, bean storage and transportation, among others services.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tDaily liquidity \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
In Cooxup\u00e9, coffee is converted into money with agility and ease for the cooperative members. The cooperative maintains a commitment to acquiring the coffee production of its coffee growers, regardless of quantity or quality, or the period in which the sale will be made. Employees guide and inform the producers to sell at dates when the price of the bag is high, but if the cooperative member still needs to sell the coffee, the cooperative buys. In Cooxup\u00e9, the stocks are segregated. There is a stock of the cooperative members where the quality of the day that the coffee is entered is guaranteed, the stocks of the cooperative itself bought from its members and other suppliers and which are processed according to the customers’ requirements and are waiting for the shipment period according to the Sales contracts and stocks of customers who prefer to confirm deposit in our warehouses.<\/p>\n
